Sports anchor Tatum Everett announced on Twitter Monday she is leaving WZTV Channel 17. Her last day on the air is Thursday. She has accepted a position as an on air-talent/producer for the Minnesota Vikings.
Everett will become the third sports anchor to leave the Fox affiliate in three years. Dave Foster left in March and Paul Jones left in 2018.
Everett, a native of Mandeville, Louisiana, started at Channel 17 in 2018. She had spent the previous six years at KTBS-TV in Shreveport, Louisiana, where she had been promoted to sports director.
She also served as sports director at KTEN-TV in Denison, Texas and KWBJ-TV in Morgan City.
